Unwind privacy policy

Unwind ("the app") is made by Tidy Merchant. It keeps a history of changes to a Shopify store's products so that merchants can compare and restore them. This policy explains what the app stores and why.

What the app stores

• The store's Shopify domain and the access token Shopify issues when the app is installed.
• Product data and its change history: titles, descriptions, status, vendor, product type, tags, URL handle, search engine listing, options, variants (price, compare-at price, SKU, barcode, tax and stock policy settings), product and variant metafields, and references to product images.
• The plan the store is on, and usage events such as install, restore and uninstall.

The app does not store customer or order data, stock levels, or payment details. Shopify handles all billing.

Why

Only to show a store its product history and to restore products when the merchant asks.

Where it is stored

On servers in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH). Database backups are kept in Cloudflare R2 (Western Europe). These providers process the data only to host it for us. We do not sell or share the data.

How long

While the app is installed. When a merchant uninstalls the app, Shopify asks us 48 hours later to delete the store's data, and the app deletes it. Backups containing it expire within 60 days.
